Questions About Payment

ALL CARRIERS offer more and more convenient ways to pay your bill... EFT, online bill pay and even the old fashion way of mailing in your check.
EFFECTIVE January 2nd, 2015,  our office will NO LONGER accept cash monthly payments for ANY policy.  We have made arrangements with our bank, Chicopee Savings Bank  (located just across the street)... If you only have cash,  they will transfer the cash to a money order (payable to Aurora Insurance) for no charge!

Also NOW have EFT (electronic fund transfer) available if you qualify...

ALL Encompass policies are DIRECT BILL

Please allow mailing time.  (there is only a 5 day grace period before $25 cancellation notice is sent)

There is $25 handling/reinstatement charge to call in payments from our office in order to prevent the cancellation of said policy.



How long do I have to pay my bill before it cancels?

Usually if payment is not received within 5 days, a CANCELLATION NOTICE will be issued with a FINAL date of cancellation. $20 late fee applies on next invoice.

Your payment must be posted at the Insurance company, not the agency, by your due date.

Partial payments do not count, you will still cancel effective your cancellation date.

How do I make a claim?

CLAIMS: 1-800-588-7400

Emcompass has a separate Claims Dept. We do not handle claims directly through this office, but would be glad to assit in starting the claims process. Or answering potential coverage questions etc!

Claim needs to be called into the claims line as soon as possible, have your police report ready, if available. At that point they will assign an adjuster to you who will contact you in about 24 - 72 hours.

Changes / Transfers / Additional Vehicles

 

APPOINTMENT NOW REQUIRED FOR:

Transfers - Please come with the title and your current registration. If vehicle is financed, please make sure information has been faxed to us prior by the dealer.

Additional Vehicles - (trailers, vehicles, motorcycles, motor homes) - Please check ahead to find out about any necessary down payments. Again, bring title, old registration., anything given to you by the dealer or a personal seller.



CHECKPOINTS or CARCO    (insurance inspections/ photos ARE DONE RIGHT on PREMISES!)

NOTE:  there is a $25 late fee for all late checkpoint or Carco confirmations...
